Terms of Use & Giving

These terms apply to your use of this website and to donations made through it to Door Within Door Foundation.

Donations

• Donations are voluntary gifts to support the Foundation's charitable work making education accessible.
• Gifts are pooled across our programs. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, a donation is not assigned to a named student.
• A donation is only complete once the payment provider has confirmed it. We will show and email a confirmation only then.
• If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us promptly. Refunds are considered case by case and processed through the original payment method where possible.

Monthly giving

• Monthly gifts are collected by the payment provider under the recurring authorisation you approve (a card subscription or an M-Pesa Ratiba standing order). We do not charge you outside that authorisation.
• You can cancel at any time from the donor area or by contacting us. For M-Pesa standing orders you can also end the order in M-Pesa.
• If a monthly payment fails, we will let you know. We will not mark a failed payment as received.

Receipts and tax

We issue a receipt for every confirmed gift. We make no representation about the tax treatment of donations.
